First and foremost we expect common courtesy and respect. Without that the guild cannot work. Rules are as follows.
- No spamming for gold, runs. You can ask once or twice but if you ask excessively you will be warned once then booted if you persist on being annoying and basically worthless to the guild.
- No abusive language to other members. Period. If you have an issue with someone take it to tells, NOT in guild chat. If it cannot be resolved ask a Council Member or Chief of Staff..or ask me.
- Do not talk down to your guild mates. EVERYONE was new once so please refrain from belittling your friends in guild. We are not the uber speak, 1337 esque guild….
- If you have friends and family members that play your character please understand their actions and words are YOURS. If they cause drama and issues in the guild it is ultimately your responsibility. Please let us know if this is a possibility.
General guidelines
- Be prepared when going on quests and instances. This includes having your armor repaired, buying reagants, stocking up on potions, bandages, ammo and gather ANY quests you need. Don’t come unprepared. Don’t assume someone can share the above.
- If you make a commitment to run an instance please try and finish it. If something comes up in real life, try and find a replacement. If you cannot which happens alot on this server we understand. Just plan accordingly.
Guild Bank
- Abuse of the Guild Bank is not tolerated. Don’t take items then sell them on the AH. Items are for Guild Members ONLY.
- Do not deposit ‘crap’ items in the bank. No ‘gray’ colored items.
- We will have a designated banker to keep the bank organized.
Guild Rank
GM: Recruiting, Handling any issues with other guild members, decides who gets to rank up– usually decided by other officer recommendations. Final decision maker when it comes to the goals of the guild. Handles day to day functions of the guild.
Judicator: One that will make calls on issues amongst the guild members, lays down the law for rules violations, able to kick and invite. Only 1 person in this position. Appointed by the GM Most likely thick skinned than most. Fair and listens to all sides…but able to sniff BS and discern truth from fabrication.
Event Planner: This person schedules events, makes sure there is a variety of things to do ingame. Also leads raids in pvp and battleground guild runs. Meets with other GM’s to coordinate coop events. Must be highly organized and motivated. 2 Spots open. This person(s) also maintains the Guild Bank, selling items that are stagnant, keeps junk out and maintains it’s order on a weekly basis.
General: These are the core players who are within the guild. In order to be an “Officer” you must be recommended by others and show leadership in raids as well as being mature and active. Unlimited number of spots. Once we have enough members Officers will have their OWN team they lead on runs, raids and events. More info to come…if we get enough players.
Corporal: Designated for those active but still a little wet behind the ears. They show promise but are willing to listen and learn.
Private: This rank is for those who pass the 2 week “New Member” tag and have shown active participation. Usually auto.
New Member: Rank is for new members and is held for two weeks time or until an Officer or Above deems to move them up the rank.
Inactive: It what is is…if you haven’t logged in for more than 45 days you get ranked down and have to take it upon yourself to let someone know your back. If after 3 months of in-activity you will be kicked from guild unless you notify someone of your extended absence.
Drunk: special rank for those deserving….
FAQ’s
(frequently asked questions)
Why Ranks and do they have a purpose?
Ranks help the guild maintain some order and mainly helps the guild as a whole achieve it’s own goals. The benefits include not only self respect and amongst your peers but includes guild bank repairs, access to more bank item withdraws, ability to promote others from within, your opinion counts when your an officer as you have proven to be trustworthy and dependable.
How do you distribute loot?
Officers leading the raid will most likely have loot on “Master Loot” as to solve any issues. With the recent change in loot distribution: namely one can trade back and forth amongst eachother from within the group/raid a lot of issues are solved. When you run with non-guild members (pug) their leaders rules apply and you should ask beforehand so there’s no miscommunication. Our focus is fun vs. loot but it is an integral part of the game– with that being said we simply roll if the item is needed and is an upgrade to your current gear. The leader of the raid should have checked gear to see who needs and has what. If no one needs it for main spec then it’s rolled for off spec. To me, if one has dual spec they should be able to roll equally since they are equal…more on this later. Main thing is to ask before something drops….state your intentions of gear.
Can I have alts in the guild? Can you power level me?
In short, yes and yes. In long, yes and no. As long as you have a main toon in the guild and are active you can have as many alts as you can make. You must label them as such in your tab. We can power level you but in turn you must commit to helping another power level. It cannot be one sided unless that person you asked to power level you agrees. If said person agree’s they must KNOW that this agreement to PL someone is on their own agreement. lol. Don’t come to the officers and complain Bobby is always wanting runs if you agreed to it…deal with it. On that note– if you didn’t read the above guideline– if you spam for runs excessively you will be asked to leave the guild. We are not a leveling guild.
How can I get ranked up more?
Participate, be active, show up for events, show maturity, be patient with others and yourself, know your toon(s). Be respectful to others. Simple.
Why aren’t we raiding more?
This is not a hardcore raiding guild nor shall it ever be. If you are bored with WoW and want constant groups for Heroics, 5/10/25’s then you are in the wrong guild. We do things at a slower pace and while we DO raid we do so without the “GUNG-HO LET’S GO NOW!!!!!” attitude. Once we have enough players in guild we will run raids, until then please be patient and help others when you can. Take initiative and start your own raids vs. others starting them.
